ET ME say at once that
Nicola Cavendish is
magnificent.

She stomps and shouts and
roars and quivers her way through
Shaw's economic comedy like the
volcano that is unnecessarily
evoked in the sound design.

sea of social and wolitical excesses
that Shaw constructed from the
flotsam and jetsam of 40 years of
play writing is duce only to the fact
that she is the “very vigorous ac-

Perhaps Shaw a genuine genius
and a theatrical innovator, was at-
tempting the invention of banquet
theatre.
