NV woman joins trek

A NORTH Vancouver resident is
ready to put 200 kilometres
behind her and her bicycle to help
fight lung disease.

Andrea Wiebe is cycling in the
British Columbia Lung Associa-
tion's Bicycle Trek for Life &
Breath, which is being held on
Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday,
Sept. 8

**This is my second year on this
trek, so I’m confident {| can do it,
but I'll be calling on the com-
munity to help support the Lung
Association,’’ says Wiebe.

Wiebe raised more than $400
last year, and is once again look-
ing for donations to raise the re-
quired minimum of $350 before
the ride. The goal of Trek °91 is
$150,000 to help fund medical
research into lung disease, health
education and community ser-
vices.
