For the second time this year they have received recognition for their long involvement and excellence in the field of physical fitness. Each received the B.C. Recreation Association’s Fitness Branch Awards of Distinction recently and the B.C. Recreation and Sport/Parks Canada Fitness Awards in the spring. Sue has been a leading figure in the use of music for fitness and postnatal exercises, while Shirley pioneered in all forms of fitness for seniors in gyms and swimming pools.
