Tighten loose belts and replace any
defective parts.

With the engine cool, remove
radiator cap to check coolant level
in radiator and coolant recovery
tank, °

If your car has power stecring,
remove the cap on the pump reser-
voir and check fluid level. If it is low,
check service manual for proper
fluid.

Check brake fluid. Use only new
fluid and wipe off any that spills as
it will corrode paint and rubber.
Check electrolyte level in battery. if
level is low, add distilled water.
Remove any deposits from battery
terminals and tighten battery
connections.

Check automatic transmission fluid,
If it is low, check manual to ensure
you are refilling with the correct

fluid, as there are two kinds and they
do not mix.

Remove air cleaner cover and check
air filter. Replace it is itis more than
a year old or if it is obviously dirty.
Check any PCV valves in the air
cleaner box and replace if plugged.
Replace gas line filer annually.

Start with front suspension and
steering components. Using high
quality chassis lubricant in a grease
gun, grease all lubrication fittings
after first wiping clean.
