Ranked fourth in B.C. going into the preseason tour- ney, Argyle beat second- ranked Mount Douglas, of Victoria, 76-61 and third- rankcd Thomas Haney, of Maple Ridge, 57-50 before dropping a 70-60 decision to seventh-ranked C.E. London, of Richmond. The Pipers claimed third place with a 79-72 win over Mission’s Heritage Park, the V1th-ranked team in’ the province.
