lot of pride in the publication that he built from nothing. That
pride is reflected in the newspaper's “wall of fame” which dis-
. plays the plaques and.certificates commemorating the many
‘publishing and community awards won by the News over the

past 25 years.

Vancouver. Claude, bless his heart,
hired me on commission and put
me to work selling his Progress
Edition, a yearly adventure and the
first step in my newspaper career,
which has become a lifelong adven-
ture.
