to take greater responsibility in
preventing the initiation and con-
tinuation of smoking.

Considering the harmful effects
of smoking for both smokers and
non-smokers, the Board of School
Trustees has committed itself to
the idea of a smoke-free environ-
ment throughout all district facili-
ties and grounds.
