Woman dies from burns

RCMP still seeking victims
A SECOND rape charge has been laid against a

North Vancouver man, as a result of police
receiving information of an incident alleged to

have occurred in 1979.

RCMP in North Van say
that as a result of an article
appeanng in the November
15 Sunday News they have
had several women come
forward alleging rape. In
some of the _ instances,
psychological pressure is
alleged, including the at-

_ tempted useof hypnosis.

A detective spokesman
Says the incidents reported
so far date back to 1973 and
involve fémales who were
between the ages of 13 and
19 at the times the offences
are said to have occurred.

And he is appealing for
more possible victims to
come forward under a

guarantee that confidentially
will be maintained.

Ronald Marcel Lukinic,
aged 32, of the 200 block
East Keith Road, was
charged with rape and three
counts of indecent assault
involving a 16-year-old girl.

RCMP have

since
rearrested him and further
charges were being laid
against him Friday in

provincial court, involving a
rape in 1979.
The spokesman told the
