DESPITE threatening clouds and a grevish amorn, the 17th
Annual Coho Festival lured berween 4000 and 3000 people to
Ambleside Park on Sept. 8 to pacticipate ina fundraising run and
barbecue to benetit salmonoid enhancement programs. Chis ter-
rifle community event included a L4-kin run/walk, face painting
booth, refreshment garden. and live entertainment. [te alsa fea
tured a) salmon blessing by the Squamish Nation and, at $10 per
plate, a reasonably priced Salmon barbecue lunch, By attersoon
the sun was cooperating beautifully thus making fora splendid day
all around.
