been alive during Biblical times.

pictographs and petroglyphs. in
North and South America, and

: Africa, he says, depict mammoths,’

mastodons, and pterodactyls that
were supposedly extinct before
humans roamed the earth. He even
says there is ancient art on the coast

of British Columbia showing sea.

Swift believes human rock paint-
ings of dinosaurs confirm the validi-
ty of passages in the Bible that men-
tion dinosaurs, sea monsters and fly-
ing reptiles.

“In the near future we will wit-
ness a collapse of contemporary evo-
lutionary theory or.ai least a modifi-
cation of it.” Swift says in one of
Spani's tapes. “I believe we. need
creation and evolution to talk togeth-
er now and let both theories compete
in the intellectual arena.’

sented. “If 1 wanted to believe they
were dinosaurs, then I could. If 1
didn't want. to believe, | could. But
he’s got.two pictures of dinosaurs
there that whoever did those pictures
saw dinosaurs.”

Swift has a lengthy fist of theolo-

gy and philosophy degrees, but no_

apparent formal training in, anthro-

pology, archaeology or paleontology.
But that doesn’t scem to bother
