Brad Ledwidee _BRIGHT LIGHTS “TAKE ME out to the ball game... take me out to the crowd...” District Five Little League play- offs for 13-year-old boys got under way last weekend at Ambieside Park. The tourna- ment winds up July 9 or 10 at the latest. Seven teams — Forest Hills, Highlands, Mount Seymour, Lynn Valiey, North Van Central, Cypress Park and West Vancouver — are taking pari in the tournament which will determine who represents District Five (the North Shore) at the provincial champi- onships to be played soon after the tournament. Lynn Valley, last year's Canadian champions, won _ their first two games beating Mount Seymour and North Van Central. They finished the reg- ular season with an 18-0 win- loss record.
