MAILBOX Proposed third crossing should be for Skytrain Dear Editor: A third crossing of Burrard Inlet is foolish and wasteful if it is a conventional automobile bridge. If any additional crossing is to be considered, it should be an ALRT type for the Skytrain. Skytrain is an investment in and a commitment to the future, both economically and environmentally, whereas highways expenditures in the urban setting are a short- sighted indulgence in the selfish desires of the bulk of singie- driver-occupied cars on the roads.
