In response to consumer reac- tion in previous years and in coop- eration with the Canadian Gift. Packaging and Greeting Card Association, Canada Post has con- tinued to make improvements to the Greet More program to make it - even easier for customers to use.. The combination of the coded envelopes and the special 32-cent postage stamps allows consumers to save money and speeds up the mailing process to the point where Canada Post can handle millions more cards more quickly at less cost. Some 30 greeting card manufac- turers are involved in the program this year, as well as charitable organizations such as UNICEF. Previous years’ coded envelopes can be used again this year with the 32-cent Christmas stamp, for those customers who may still have a supply on hand. The special stamps are available at all postal outlets until Dec. 24, and can be used for cards posted between Oct. 27 and Jan. 31. The Greet More greeting cards are available where cards are nor- mally sold, and are easily iden- tified with the Greet More logo. The stamps will be sold in booklets of 10 for $3.20. The postage stamp may be used at any time on other mailable mat- ter by combining them with other stamps to make up the amount of postage required.
