B.C.'s Ministry of health
has recently given Lions
Gate Hospital a series of
settlements reducing a $2.2
million deficit reported for
1979-80 down to $40,000.

“By bringing us up so Close
to our estimate they are
admitting that we weren't far
wrong,” said hospital
director Maunce Fellis at
last week's board meeting
“Of course. we knew we were
right all along.”

For the year 1980-81 LGH
has reported a $2.5 milhon
deficit. As is traditional for
provincial government
