12 — Wednesday, November 23, 1994 — North Shore News a day im court THE FOLLOWING people appeared in North and West Vancouver courts recently to face various charges: Before Judge Doug Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on Oct. 11: Stanley Albert Thomas, 22, of North Vancouver, received 12 months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to break, enter and theft at a residence in the 200-block of West 22nd Street on April 7 in North Vancouver City. Thomas was required to pay $600 restitution to the victim. Before Judge Jerome Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on Oct. IL: Kien Nguyen Truong, 19, of Vancouver, was jailed 16 days after he pleaded guilty to trafficking herein on Feb, 4 in Vancouver. The jail sentenced was to be served on weekends, North Shore police drug squad members were involved in the arrest that lead to Truong’s charge. Mark Anthony Zwanski, 34, of North Vancouver, was fined $100 after he pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention on Lonsdale Avenue on Jan. 1 in North Vancouver City. Before Judge Bill Rodgers in North Vancouver provincial court on Oct. 6: Jace Darren Braaten, 20, of Alberta, was fined a total of $650 after he pleaded guilty to the follow- ing North Vancouver City charges: @ stealing merchandise belonging to Sears Canada on March 29; & breaching probation by failing to report to a probation officer on Oct. 14, 1993, Before Judge Bill Rodgers ‘in North Vancouver provincial court on Oct. 5: Forrest Aflan Blakeman,i9, of North Vancouver, was fined $200 after he pleaded’ guilty to carry a concealed knife on Nov. 29, 1993 in North Vancouver District.
