Instead, fill the toilet with water
to just below the rim.

Move the plunger up and down
until] the water drains. If the
plunger doesn’t unclog the toilet,
use a toilet auger (c.).

The bottom drawer in your
kitchen always sticks. What com-
mon items can you use to fix it?

a. sandpaper

b. soap

c. candle wax

The answer: a, 6 and c. Pull
out’ the drawer and check for
shiny spots along the edges. Sand
down these spots and try the
drawer again.

If it still sticks, rub the drawer
and frame with soap or with can-
dle wax. Soap or candle wax are
especially good if the drawer holds
heavy items.

chicken, the grease catches fire.
To put out the fire you should:
