Aviva Lacterman is the lucky win-
ner of the Chris Spencer Scholar-
ship Music Award. :

The award, announced by the
West Coast Amateur Musicians
Society, will allow Aviva to attend
a family music camp this summer
at Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver
Island from July 24 to 31,

A member of Argyle Second-
ary’s school choir,Aviva excelled
in her singing exams and at the
Kiwanis Music Festival this year.

She was chosen for the scholar-
ship because of her experience in
music. She has sunny in the
childrens’ chorus of the Vancouver
Opera and has recently
understudied the part of Flora in
The Turn of the Screw,
