THE CANADIAN Share Society is a non-profit
organization dedicated to helping other societies raise
funds. not .

The society states: ‘“‘Some of the smaller, less-
established organizations have a difficult time raising
much-needed funds either due to lack of participation
or organization. The Canadian Share Society has the °
time and energy to aid such organizations in raising
the funds they need.”” ;

One phase of the group’s campaign is to install
donation’cans in various public outlets such as liquor

The society has an ever-present need for volunteers
and asks anyone with ‘“‘some extra time and the
special quality it takes to be a volunteer” to contact

With the coming of Christmas, the group is also
looking for donations of toys and non-perishable

Carnival Helper needed for Hal-
Joween night at a West Vancouver
centre to assist with set up and
operation. Approximately 6:30 to
10 p.m.

Monday Morning Fitness Instruc-
tor or volunteer to oversee board
games for adult psychiatric pa-
tients. Should be open-minded and
enthusiastic. A background in
mental health work would be a
desirable trait.

Drivers are always required. Cur-
rently we are seeking people to
drive blind persons to doctor ap-
pointments, craft classes, etc.
There are flexible, on-call or regu-
lar positions. Experience with the
blind is desirable, but not essential.
Other agencies ‘seek drivers for
seniors and handicapped.
