Dance Co. springs into performance

THE JUDITH Marcuse Repertory
Dance Co. and the Karen
Jamieson Dance Co. will present
an evening of dance titled Spring
Sketchbook from April 8 to II.

The North Vancouver-based
Repertory Dance Co. will be pres-
enting The Waltz and The Blues as

-well as ‘sketches’ of a new multi-

media work now in progress.

The new works by artistic direc-
tor Judith Marcuse will be the
beginnings of an evening-long in-
terdisciplinary project similar to

. her Playgrounds and Mirrors,

Masques and Transformations.

The Karen Jamieson Dance Co.
will perform Sisyphus, described
by a Montreal reviewer as ‘‘a
superbly constructed piece of
work.”
