Lions Gate Project Update bus/bike lane on the north side of Marine Drive west of Capilano Rd is being proposed to the District by the British Columbia Transportation Financing Authority (BCTFA). It would be included in the Lions Gate Project and form part of an overall bus lane plan for Capilano Road south of Highway #1 and Marine Drive west of Bridgeman. The proposal also includes improvements to sidewalks and trails for pedestrians and cyclists. Details are currently being discussed with proper- ty owners who will be impacted and some options will be presented to Council later this month.
