The Correctional Organization
of Provincial Penitentiary System
(COPPS) is a conversion of the
Corrections Administration Record
Entry System currently used by the
Attorney General of B.C. COPPS,

_ designed by the two-year students,

handles admissions to the institu-
tion, entry of warrants, scheduling
and confirmation of inmate
movements and reports and other
functions.

The Achievement Resource Cen-
tre System (ARC), designed by the
accelerated diploma students, is a

‘data base foundation for the

future college-wide automation at

Capilano College.
ARC services include
workshops, individual tutorials,

group study sessions, special needs
services and individual self-paced
study.
