There is no restriction on the amount of waste and garden refuse which residents may place at the curb for pick-up by the District on their normal collection day. 2. Waste and garden refuse will be picked up which is in; (a) a covered standard size, household garbage container; (b) a tightly secured, standard size, plastic, household gar- bage bag; (c) any approved or District supplied container; or (d) a tightly secured bundle not more than three feet in tength; and . (e) does not weigh more than 35 kilograms (77 pounds) in the case of individual household containers, bags or bundies. *3.Waste put out for collection must NOT include any; (a) explosive, toxic, corrosive, caustic, hot, or highly inflam- mable substance, or petroleum product; (b) water or.other liquids in waste receptacles, or; (c) sealed paint, solvent or chemical containers. - 4, GARBAGE CONTAINER RENTAL — April, 1986 (a) The District's garbage containers are approximately 4'x4'x5' in size and will hold three cubic yards of waste. (b) The container must be placed on the boulevard or the driveway of the residence in a location which is accessi- ble by the District's garbage packer for picking up and emptying the container. : (c) There is a limited number of containers available for the residential service and these will be assigned in the same order as the requests for service are received. Depen- ding upon the demand for this service users may be limited to a single one week rental period. ; (d) The charge for the container is $20.00 per week which includes delivery, one dump and removal of the container. Additional dumps within one week will be charged at $8.00 each; additional weeks will be charged at $20.00 each. (e) The rental and dump charges will be invoiced to the user for payment after the container is removed. (f) To obtain a container, telephone 984-4381 during normal ousiness hours and leave your name, address, telephone number(s) and the length of time you require the container. Users will be telephoned in advance to inform them when the container will be delivered.
