But first the company is_ offering hometown audiences a chance to see some of the stunning artistry that has earned the troupe such high acclaim the world over. The Anna Wyman Dance Theatre performs at North Vancouver's Centennial Theatre Dec. 4-5 as part of Presentation House's Canadance program. The Anna Wyman Dance Theatre is truly a dance company on the move. October and November saw the dancers touring Eastern Canada, where they per- formed to consistently full and enthusiastic houses. The company has held workshops here in B.C., and has several overseas tours to its credit. Now Ms. Wyman and her troupe have the honour of being the first contemporary dance company to visit China. There they will be sponsored and hosted by the Chinese * Pre-China Canadance special Dance Association -and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. The company’s tour includes public performances in five different towns: Canton, Kunming, Chengtu, Chungking and Bei-Jing (Peking). Vancouver audiences wiil be treated to a taste of the China performances, for a number of the works planned for the tour will also be presented at the Cen- tennnial.
