On Monday, the Cen- -tennial Theatre stage will host. the Hand- sworth/Balmoral Combined: Concert Band, _ the _Elementary Zone - Band, Balmoral Stage Band and the Handsworth Jazz Ensemble. The Carisbrooke/Montroyal - Elementary Violins, the Montroyal Choir and ex- cerpts from the musical “Tom Sawyer” by Canyon Heights pupils will complete the program offerings. The Concert Choir and Motet Singers of Argyle Secondary will lead off in Tuesday evening's 44 SHOWCASE... Primary and Intermediate Choirs from Upper Lynn Elementary will add to the choral section of the program. Instrumental music will be presented by the Elementary Zone Band, Concert Bands from Argyle and Sutherland Secondary ‘and the Argyle Stage Band. “Wednesday Night Fever” is the theme name for the April 25 SHOWCASE. Schools from central North Vancouver will present a full program of Jazz, Folk and Rock along with classical music and dance. Carson Graham Secondary’s Jazz Choir, Dancers and Stage Band will be joined by the Lonsdale Ethnic Dancers and Calypso Singers, the Ridgeway 6/7 Choir and the Capilano Kids. A combined stage band from North Vancouver Secondary and Hamilton, the District String Orchestra and the Elementary Zone Band will also participate. Students who develop their musical talents look forward to public per- formances. They are the culminating activities after many hours of learning and practice.
