has become a common practice
but should be used as a slow
release supplement.

Fine or coarse bone meal is slow
to break. dewn and is rich in
phosphorous but lacks the other
essential elements of nitrogen and
potassium.

A chemical fertilizer like 3.15.6
or an organic fertilizer such as
5.5.5. along with bone meal, pro-
vides a more balanced diet for
good growth and reliable flower-
