On the first day of the B.C. track meet in Coquitlam, she was third in the 3,000 metres (10:45.1). Ar noon the next day, she was second in the 1,500 m (4:39.81). She took off for the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve (for- merly > the Seymour Demonstration Forest) where she earned third in the B.C. invitational mountain bike race. She fell at the start, but finished in 47:39. He won the gold medal in the 3,000 m (8:48.38) on opening day and followed it up 24 hours later with sec- ond places in both the 1,500 m (3:55.66) and 2,000 m__ stecpiechase (6: 13.15). He provided a gutsy leg to the Highlanders’ 4x400 m relay team that claimed third place (3:30.98), just minutes after the steeple- chase.
