Elizabeth (Sette)

died peacefully at Queen’s Park
Wospital on December 25, 1995
after having fought a long battle
with Alzheimer's Disease. Born July
26, 1921. Bette Hood was an active
member of the Dolfarton/Deep Cove
community for over 25 years whose

tenacity and positive spirit brought
joy to all around her. A loving wife
and mother, Bette was also an active
pacifist and teacher of young
children, Through her work she
strove to communicate the value of
open-mindedness, peace and com-
munity tolerance. Bette is lovingly
temembered by her husband
Patrick, her children Paul, Alan,
Barbara and Laurie, and by her
brother John and sister Barbara.

A memorial service celebrating
Bette’s fife will be held at 11:00am,
Saturday, January 6, 1996 at Mt.
Seymour United Church - 1200
Parkgate Ave, North Vancouver.
