The serial numbers include: HI 52468350856, @ 56908613136; 2 52630241646; B 56766602482, 52620497394, @ 52277164890; M 52518418540; & 56673848716; 56933671046; B 56898202597; BH 56562012141, WB 56793238987. Police suggest a suspected counterfeit bill be compared to a genuine bill. The phoney bills which have surfaced in West Vancouver have been poorly cut and are sometimes narrower or shorter than a genuine bill. Police say a genuine Canadian $20 will have a pink hue in the sky above the mountains on the back of the bill. Counterfeits have missed the pink color. Some counterfeits have also appeared shiny and pur- ple, unlike real Canadian $20 bills. Police say that if a genuine Canadian bill is rabbed hard on a piece of white paper, ink should rub off. (Police suggest using an area of high ink concentration such as the numbers on the bills’ comers for this test.) Anyone find- ing a counterfeit bill can call West Vancouver Police at 922-4141 or in North Vancouver, the North Vancouver RCMP at 985-1311. ee a SE NEN eA TS RR TL Lt SREAK & ENTRY LOCATION IMM Anson __ ARMED ROBERY “SPR scan sicinns 4 sopy ah N.S.
