The program, initiated by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, is entitled “Aim for a Million.” and has enlisted the help of its 500- member chamber of commerce net- work to distribute a nutionwide sur- vey to local businesses that asks, “what would it take to hire more people?” “The goal of ‘Aim fora Million’ is to create the right climate for the creation of one million new jobs.” explained Barry Swift.
