AS we assessed my mother’s Next move, several questions arose. Should she rent or buy, continue in the country with her friends or move to the city near her children? How much space does she now require and how much can she afford to pay? With those questions in mind we began touring various retirement resi- dences and discovered that as we did so, priorities became clearer.
