Joined by Ross Barrett, Craig McCaw and Patti Dahlquist, Meyer plays what is described as new music that she said “has almost the feeling akin to water flowing down a mountain. It lives next door to classical but it’s not really. “It will bring visions to your mind. It’s very uplifting music,’’ she said. A West Coast performer, com- poser and singer, Meyer has re- corded two albums, the latest of which she has called Oregon Summer , of quietly powerful music. Defined as new age music, the group's sound is something new. “Although it has a time signature to it, it sounds like it doesn’t,” Meyer explained. Included in the evening’s show will be a slide show with some of the pieces.
