$12,000 DAMAGE

Girl hurt in
NV car crash

A YOUNG woman was rushed to
Lions Gate Hospital after a two-
car collision Tuesday.

North Vancouver RCMP said
the accident involved seven people
in a 1981] Chev and one person in
an ‘83 Chev around 2:30 a.m. on
Ridgeway Avenue at the corner of
East 13th Street.

Greenlees said he saw a
policewoman pull an unconscious
woman from under the dash of the
"81 Chev and revive her.

Perrault was released from hos-
pital Wednesday.

Police estimate the damage to
both cars at approximately $12,000

Kelly Perrault, who suffered
bruises from the accident, was a
passenger of the '81 Chev, driven
by lan David Megas of North
Vancouver. He was driving south
on Ridgeway.

The driver of the *83 Chev was
Leonard Nesseth, also of North
Vancouver. He was driving east on
13th Street.

Area resident Wayne Greenlees
reported the accident to police. ‘1
heard a big smack that woke me
up from a dead steep and then we
heard screaming just outside.”
