Translated into terms we all understand, if you leave the bar at the bow of the ship slightly tiddly, you'll be cold sober by the time you reach your cabin at the stern. If, indeed, you find it. It doesn't matter much because the Queen isn't going anywhere. One thing that sets him above yOur average captain 1s that he can perform marnage services and the wedding chapel on the ship does a brisk business. Captain Gregory lives aboard with his “lady”, affectionately referred to as a Lhasa Fatso. “Happy” is a refined lady dog with a gente nose, broad beam and perfect manners. Otherwise, the captain is single. We had several meals aboard the Queen Mary. Her most “posh” dining room ts named after Sir Winston Churchill. Bring plenty of money -- the prices are ouch! “The Promenade” is the more reasonably priced restaurant aboard. I had fish both times I ate there -- don't miss the sea bass if it's available. Two starters to take note of: Mushrooms stuffed with crab are excellent even though they're covered in a funny-looking yellow sauce which tastes better than it looks. Others praised the Mexican salad. Although 1 despise honey, the chef's special honey-mustard dressing is not sweet and tastes great on Crisp greens. Although the Queen Mary is an experience, I wouldn't plan to stay there for more than a day or so.
