of New Westminster’s
Douglas ‘College. Other

were Terry Cameron with

Paul Pattison with 10.

On Saturday, the Blues
hosted Royal Roads Military
College and chalked up
another two points, dumping
the Victoria team 95-53.

Firefighters ready for curling playdowns

The 21st annual Provincial
Firefighters Curling Play-
downs will be held in North
Vancouver from February
12-15. The curling will take
place at the North Shore
Winter Club and the bonspiel
headquarters will be at the
Coachouse Motor Inn.

Approximately 300  fire-
fighters from all over the
province will attend the four
day event which sends one
championship team as a B.C.
representative to the
Canadian championships in
April. -

The opening ceremonies
will take place at nine o'clock
AM February 12 at the
winter club curling arena.
Opening rocks will be thrown
by mayor Don Bell, the three
North Shore Fire Chiefs and
several other dignitaries.
