Dispiaying dried hydrangeas

HERP’S an idea I came
up with last year for a
simple floral arrange-
ment for your dried
hydrangeas.

This cone arrangement can
be made out of aluminum
window covering or chicken
wire.

Materials

thin green fleral wire (to
make U-clips)

aluminum window covering
or chicken wire (available at
hardware stores)

green Spanish moss (or dried
green moss)

dried floral foam

arvificial and/or dried flow-

dried hydrangeas

Cut five “inch pieces of
floral wire and bend them into

the shape of a U.

Bend vour window cover-
ing into the shape ofa large
ive cream cone, with a wide
top and pointed end.

To attach the cone ends
together, insert the U clips
through the window covering
and tie on the inside of the
cone. Fill vour cone with the
dried moss. This is so you
can’t see the floral foam that

fits inside.Cut to fit the foam if

necessary, Arrange your artifi-
cial and dried leaves and flow-
ers on top of the cane with
the greens then add your flow-
ers. Arrange your hydrangea
pieces and other large flowers
first, then rhe smaller flowers
and grapes. When you're
happy with the look of the
arrangement, attach a smali
wire on the back of the cone
for hanging. Remember to
keep it out cof direct sunlight.
