Two weeks in cinema paradise

Vancouver International
Film Festival (VIFF) begins
today with a celebration of of

showing of Canadian films,
particularly Western
Canadian productions.

For some insight into the
festival, I spoke to John
Dippong, who has been ~
working for the past six years:
for the VIFF. He also talks -
about the joys of being a first
time film producer, and says
good-bye to his position as
director of the Moving
Pictures Festival, and VIFF,
