The guest list for Roy’s intimate Christmas dinner for special friends numbered almost 500! eee It’s difficult to believe that Lance Harrison and his Dixieland band have been playing every Saturday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Troiler’s Pub at Horseshoe Bay for the past 10 years! Today Lance and the guys along with vocalist Susie Francis will begin a néw musical gig for Sunday afternoons, again from 3 to 6 p.m., at Charters Marine Pub on Cardero, very near the Bayshore... Today, too, it's the fourth an- nual Blues for Christmas fund- taiser for the Vancouver Food Bank at Drew Burns’ Commodore Cabaret. Because this concert sold out so quickly, they have now added a second show at 7:30 p.m. on Monday night, Dec. 17. Last year, in one night, organizers raised $8,000 in cash and $4,000 in food products for the food bank. They have their fingers crossed hoping to double that this vzar!...
