Mailbox Say goodbye to Doug! Dear Editor: The Vancouver Sun is finally showing some sense by getting rid of Les Bewley. Wish that you would show the same intelligence and say goodbye to Doug Collins. While I'm at it, please stop prin- ting letters from obvious lunatics or fringe elements (e.g. a January 10th letter from K. Adlington of Calgary, who must have sent let- ters to all community newspapers in the West, asserting that the Write any South African National Congress is ‘ta creature of the KGB’). Finally, why does a community newspaper delivered to all North Shore homes have to have pictures of silly looking females falling out of their bathing suits in each edi- tion? Is this really what your readers want? Do you ever ask? Please concentrate on effective coverage of local issues. Thank you. Nancy Nowlan Vancouver good ads lately? it's heen 11 years and we're still cooking 11 years ago we opened our doors with an idea and a lot of energy.
