Lampman, Sask., John moved to North
Vancouver in 1956 and worked for the
District of North Vancouver for 30 years.

Grace Jasper celebrated her S$0th birth-
day on November 23rd with her family
and friends in West Vancouver who wish
her many more memorable years. Born
on a Manitoba farm in 1910. she has lived
in Miniota, Hamiota, Gladstone, Ottawa
and Winnipeg before returning to West
Vancouver. Grace was national secretary
of the Federated Women’s institute and
has been an active member of many
organizations. She has supervised food
services departments at the University of
Manitoba and UBC. In 1999 she wrote her
memoits, Growing Up Down on the Farr.

in East Africa on Nov. 25, 1950. In 1973
the couple moved te Canada with their
daughter and two sons. They now have
seven grandchildren and one creat-
granddaughter. Their iamily and irends
