Menopause Matters
information meeting
on Tuesday Nov. 16.

The information meeting
is for men and women and
will focus on midlite changes,
midlife relationships and sex-
uality.

Speakers include family
physician) = Dr. Suzanne
Montemuro, radio talk show
host Dr. Art Hister, who is
the author of Midlife Man,
and psychologiss Dr. Judith
Daniluk.

Across the Life Span which was

Menopause Matters is the
second information mecting
this veer. Last spring's
Menopause and Osteoporosis
drew 350 people.

Centre hay been around for
four years. It is located at
206, 1916 Lonsdale Ave.

The information centre
provides peer counsciling and
has an extensive library on
menopause and related health
issues.

The information centre
sponsors $30-screening tests
for osteaporasis: about five
times a year. The procedure
involves ultrasouad bone
density resting of a woman's
heel. The next session of
screening tests will rake place
in January or February. Call
the centre for an appoint-
ment.

We are currently looking for patients with facia! acne to participate in a clinical .
trial comparing azeleic acid cream to benzoyl peroxide gel. This is a placebo-
controtled study.

* Reimbursement for qualified volunteers upon study completion.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must not be under a doctor's care for your acne

+ 12 years of age or older .

- Must be available to atvend 6 visits over 12 weeks
- Must have 10 - 60 papules on your face
