34 — Sunday, July 11, 1999 — North Shore News sidelines THE North Shore Thrashers are sending three teams to the national inline hockey championships July 29 to Aug. 1 in Brampton, Ont. ; The midget, bantam and atom squads won gold medals at the provincial tournament last weekend at Karen Magnussen Arena, Ice Sports North Shore and Lonsdale Arena. More than 30 teams from around B.C. competed. The Thrashers’ other bantam team and pee wee team won silver medals. The teams are raising funds for the trip to the champi- onships back cast.
