emergency incidents:

‘March 18
‘1. 4390-blk. Ranger Ave.

. Motor’ vehicle accident.
Towtruck collided with some
trees. Driver arrested — for
impaired driving. Damages
over $7,000.

March 20
2. Queens and Lonsdale Ave.
People reportvd some

males fighting in the middie
of the road. At the scene

police dispersed a group of
youths acting foolish. It was
not a real fight.

3. Fromme Rd. School

A father and son came to
the detachment to report an
assault on the son. He was
assaulted by an older youth at
the school while playing hock-
ey. He suffered some bruises
and scratches. The investiga-
tion continues.

4. 500-bIk. East 21st St.

A woman called police to
report that another adult was
physically abusing a child by
hitting and screaming at it ia
the backvard of another

home. An investigation is

ongoing.

5. 200-blk. Seymour River
Ph

A young female reported
that her friend had just been
assaulted by her mother and
grandmecher when they came
to the house to pick her friend

up and take her home. Police
intervened, the investigation
continues.

6. 600-blk. Westview PI.
People called to report a
domestic fight. They can hear
a woman screaming and
swearing. Police attend and

discover that it is a
father/daughter dispute. She
had been drinking. He had
gone to get her ar a down-
town club. The fight was over
her not being allowed to go a
rave in Kamloops. No assault.
The nyatter was dealt with.

7. 100-blk. West Keith Rd.

Neighbors reporc a domes-
tic fight — they can hear it
coming from one of the apart-
ments. Police attend and the
situation was dealt with.
There was no assault, a -
woman was upset as her
boyfriend had just got home
after a night in the RCMP
drunk tank.
