increased traffic, said the environmen-
talists. Development pressure on areas
above the 1,200-foot limit to West
Vancouver development will also
increase as a result of a sewer and water
link to Cypress, group chairman

Katharine Steig said earlier.

B.C. Parks has asked West
Vancouver for a $2 miilion link to the
municipality's sewer and water system
to Cypress. Staif are reviewing the
request and expect to have a report to
council in mid-January.

Victoria Oriel Cook was
planning to go to Mission. She
was at London Drugs in Park
Royal's north mall prior to her
disappearance. ‘

Cook is described as being
1.5m (5°), 65 ke (143 Ibs.) with
blond hair and brown eyes. She
Was wearing a long light-blue
shirt over white leggings and a
brighdy-colored nylon jacket.

Cook’s car is a red and gray
1985 Chevrolet Sprint with
B.C. licence plates MLR 852.

North Vancouver RCMP
investigators say they have no
reason to suspect foul play in
Cook’s disappearance.
