THE ANNUAL B.C. Floral Art
Society Christmas Show has
become a feature of the season at
the Oakridge Shopping Centre in
Vancouver.

Proceeds from this event are
used for bursaries at the University
of British Columbia, Simon Fraser
University and the British
Columbia Institute of Technology.

This year’s Victorian Flower
Show features displays of floral
arrangements and designs, festive
table setiings, sparkling Christmas
trees and sales tables with a great

selection of handcrafted Christmas |

decorations and dried plant stuffs,

There will also be a raffle and
demonstrations offering a host of
ideas for the holiday season.

The show will be held in the

Oakridge auditorium at the corner
of Cambie Street and 45th Avenue
(southwest entrance) in
Vancouver, on Saturday, Nov. 5,
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and
Sunday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. ;
Admission is $2 at the door or
$1.50 for advance tickets, avail-
