Piccione says her goal is ‘‘to flatter the bride so that she is noticed first — and then the gown.,"* .“Every design must stand the test of time,’’ Piccione says. ‘‘We want the bride to look at her wedding pictures in the years ahead and take delight in the fact that the gown she chose to wear was indeed perfect.”’ Although the double-breasted tuxedo continues to be a strong favorite for men, versatility is seen for spring. We will see more individualism with the introduction of color, whether it’s with the new teal or grape shawl collar tuxedos or with vibrant print silk bow ties, vests and cummerbunds. Other spring highlights for men will include satin trim added to tuxedo jackets, black tailcoats featured in shadow stripes, and buttonless tuxedos with one piece peak satin lapels.
