TWO NORTH Vancouver women
who have graduated from the
nursing, cytogenetics, diagnostic
medical sonography and elec-
tronics technology programs at the
B.C. Institute of Technology
(BCIT) were recently presented
with awards at their convocation
ceremonies.

Diane Jones was awarded the
BCIT Associate Dean’s Award for
Proficiency Nursing, while
Catherine Tady was awarded the
Registered Nurses’ Association of
B.C. Student Professional Award.

The pair were two of about 100
graduates of the programs.
