Taylor Way BC Rail donates to fund NORTH VANCOUVER-based BC Rail has donated $5,000 to the Nerth Shore Charitable Foundation. “The investment income from our gift will be used to support charitable causes on the North Shore,”’ said Barrie Wall, chairman of BC Rail’s donations committee. ‘‘We employ over 800 people on the North Shore and we are pleas- ed to support the community in this way.”’ Foundation president Roger Clarke said money will increase the foundation’s endowment funds and provide fasting assistance to organizations in the community who provide social, cultural, recreational and educational services, The North Shore Charitable Foundation is a public founda- tion registered with Revenue Canada.
