After losing the first game of their opening doubleheader against Abbotsford, Warren Lew came back in the game posting a 10-4 win. The Coquitlam Ducks were handled by Todd Patz, who struck out eight on the way to a 10-2 win. Bob Mill went 4-4 and 3 RBI, and Jay Perch contributed 3 RBI with two bases loaded double. The defending B.C. champions recently travelled to Whalley Stadium to take on the Whalley Chiefs, defending senior little league champions. Chuck Law picked up his first win allowing six hits and 10 strikes. Cam Barker provided the offence with a 2 run double in a 3-1 win.
