Valentine's
Dance

THE LADIES Auxiliary to the
Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold
its annual Valentine’s Dance on
Saturday, Feb. 14.

All proceeds go to the Heart
Fund.

Dance music will be supplied by
Wayne Odergard. Entertainment
also includes bar service, a raffle
and door prizes.

Tickets arc $4 and include coffee
and snack. The dance will be held
at the Eagles Hall, 170 W. 3rd St.,
North Vancouver, and runs from 9
p.m to 1 a.m.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles
was instituted in 1898 in Seattle
and the Jadies auxiliary formed in
1927, Membership has grown to
over a million, with lodges in
Canada, United States, Mexico
and the Philippines.

The motto of the Eagles is
“People Serving People’’, and the
group puts this into practice by
assisting such charities as the Heart
Fund, cancer, muscular dystrophy,
diabetes, the North and West Van
‘Christmas funds, Stroke Club,
libraries and Lions Gate Hospital.

The Ladies Auxiliary to Nor-
thwest Aerie 2638, North Van-
couver, who is sponsoring the
