LONG ISLAND, New York was the sight of the
1984 ‘Blind and Amputee’ Olympics. For the first
time ever, American and Canadian teams competed
against 54 countries including teams from Europe,
Africa, Asia and Australia.

Chena Swim Club’s Lee earned his spot on the 1984
Grenon, a well known name Olympic Squad in late May,
to provincial swimming, at the Canadian Olympic
